Vision-Led
The Veneka Initiative is a student-led fundraising and advocacy organization dedicated to supporting Venezuelans. The organization’s purpose is to raise funds and raise awareness–by selling Venezuelan arepas– for nonprofit organizations providing humanitarian, legal, and social assistance to Venezuelans affected by political and economic challenges. In addition, The Veneka Initiative seeks to promote awareness and education on the conditions in Venezuela through participation in the organization. Through ethical fundraising, education, and collaboration, the organization aims to foster informed advocacy, civic responsibility, and meaningful impact within UT Austin.
